DoD Releases Online Cyber Resilient Weapon Systems Body of Knowledge Version 2.0 for Engineering Workforce

The Department of Defense announced today the release of the Online Cyber Resilient Weapon Systems Body of Knowledge (CRWS-BoK) Version 2.0. The Online CRWS-BoK provides information to assist the public and private sector workforces in designing, engineering, and safeguarding cyber resilient weapon systems.

“Version 2.0 includes major updates to provide a more efficient and effective user experience,” said Melinda Reed, Systems Security Director. This version’s upgrades include:

  • Improved, simplified registration process for new users
  • Ability for registered users to save resource annotations for future sessions
  • CRWS-BoK news and tips feature on the landing page to increase users’ awareness and knowledge
  • A list of the most requested searches on the landing page for users to quickly find popular information
  • An integrated metrics dashboard for data curators and administrators
  • Updated graphics and reference tables to enhance users’ viewing experience

The Systems Security Directorate in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) launched Version 1.0 of this resource in May 2021 for the engineering, research, and science & technology (S&T) communities.
