Responsibilities:

The Deputy Director for Office of Strategic Capital serves as the principal back-up to the Director for Office of Strategic Capital across the scope of their responsibilities, including providing policy guidance and technical direction.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the implementation of the DoD's Loan Program Office, including the implementation of OSC federal authorities, including Section 903 of the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NOAA) and Section 8140 of the 2024 Appropriations General Provision.
• Responsible for maintaining a close coordinated relationship with Strategic Capital Advisory Council, engaging directly with the USD(R&E) and other principals and staff of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Assistant Secretaries of Defense, the Office of the General Counsel, officials of the Military Departments, the Joint Staff, and the defense agencies.
• Responsible for overseeing the internal DoD implementation of the DoD Loan Program Office, working closely with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense Comptroller (OUSD(C)) and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) for funds disbursement, portfolio management, auditing, accounting, and annual re-estimation.
• Provides expert guidance and project assistance in internal office management,
  operations, and will direct the staff and activities of the Office of Strategic Capital.
